Woolwich

[William Wogan] Baynes [Staff Surgeon of seniority 28 Feb 1844] was transferred from Plymouth Hospital to Woolwich Dockyard, and was no doubt named for the appointment at & before the date of my application.
Knowing this early in October and being apprised of [Dr. John] Gallaghers [Deputy Inspector of Hospitals and Fleets of seniority 26 mar 1864] death on the 12th I made the application which elicited the following acknowledgement.
